Browsing

There are no accounts on this site and nothing to sign into. While you browse we keep:

We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and we do not sell anything about you to anybody.

What sellers are told

Counts, not people. A business sees how many times its listing and its products were viewed, how many baskets were started, and how many orders came from here. It cannot see who you are, what else you looked at, or which other businesses you visited. We leave out anything that looks like a machine rather than a shopper before we count it.

When you place an order

Your name, phone number, email and delivery details go to that business, because they are the ones sending you the thing. From that point they are handling your data as the seller, under their own terms, and any request about it is best made to them. We keep our own record of the order so we can help when something goes wrong, and so the seller can be held to the returns floor.

Payment happens on ProveHub and through its payment providers. Card details never touch many.ng.

When you message a business

The conversation is with them, on their own system. They keep it, and their AI employee is the thing replying. What you write there is not visible on this site.

When you ask the AI guide

Each question, the conversation before it and a list of items listed here go to ProveHub, which has an AI model write the answer. Neither many.ng nor ProveHub keeps a record of what you asked. We count how many questions come from each IP address for a day, so one visitor cannot use the guide up for everybody else. Leave out anything you would not say out loud in a shop.

How long we keep things

Server logs, weeks. View counts, kept as daily totals with nothing in them that points back to a person. Order records, as long as tax and accounting law requires them.

Your rights

Under the NDPA you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it. Write to support@provehub.com and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Where the data is about an order, ask the seller as well. They hold their own copy and we cannot delete it for them.
